Etta is a giant wise Pteranodon and supporting character in The Land Before Time franchise. She is voiced by the legendary actress and singer, Reba McEntire. She first appears in The Land Before Time XIV: Journey of the Brave.
Etta was a flier who's a member of Bron's herd, and is separated from everyone else by the eruption of fire mountain. She travels with the rest of Bron's herd.
After an argument beween Littlefoot and Cera on which path to take, Littlefoot decides to go ahead alone, where he meets a Pteranodon named Etta who knows his father. When the two become trapped in a cave, she sings a song to lead him on his way, and he is eventually reunited with his friends as they continue their journey together with Etta into the harsh landscape. Meanwhile, the elder dinosaurs learn about their children's trek, and decide to go after them with two younger ones - Chomper and Ruby. They attempt to have Wild Arms, a Nothronychus, guide them back to where Bron was last seen, but he faints at the mere sight of Chomper, a "sharptooth", and has to be carried, leaving Chomper to lead the way with his nose.
Etta eventually leads Littlefoot and his friends to the fire mountain where they find Bron. They learn that he became trapped and separated from his herd when he went back to save Wild Arms, who was in danger due to his cowardly nature. Reunited with his father and the rest of the herd led by Chomper, the group extol the virtues of working together and finding bravery through companionship.
After Bron is rescued, Etta, alongside Wild Arms, Grandpa, Topps, and the Gang of Seven, head back to the Great Valley as the sun sets.

- She has a very large crest in comparison to most female Flyers.
- Etta has one deceased cousin (killed by sticking her head in the mouth of a Sharptooth of an unknown species), and a sister who supposedly hit a tree and became crazy.
- During the eruption of the Fire Mountain, Etta singed her wing.
- She is similar to Elsa from We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story.
- It is unknown if Etta is part of Bron's herd who, for whatever odd reason, just stayed in the vicinity of Bron, or if she was some random Flyer who just happened to see Bron's accident and somehow know his name.
